Introduction
Titan offers warranty coverage for its kitchen sinks as outlined in this document. This warranty is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which guarantees that products are of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and free from major defects. If a defect covered under this warranty arises, Titan will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product in accordance with the terms set out below.
This document supersedes all previous warranty versions.
Consumer Guarantees
Under the Australian Consumer Law, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Warranty Scope
Titan offers the following warranty for our products:
- Kitchen Taps - 10 years (parts or replacement product only)
-
Kitchen Sinks - Structural Warranty: 25 years (replacement product only)
-
Finish Warranty (PVD colour finishes): 12 months (replacement product only)
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It covers genuine manufacturing defects that arise during normal domestic residential use.
The Finish Warranty only covers manufacturing faults in the PVD coating, such as poor finish adhesion, peeling, or separating from the stainless steel surface. It does not cover deterioration due to use, cleaning, or environmental factors (wear and tear). If a finish-related fault (such as disbonding or peeling) is not reported prior to installation, it is assumed that the product was received in acceptable condition and without defect. Any subsequent issues relating to the appearance or condition of the finish are considered usage-related wear and are not covered under warranty.
Titan’s finishes will naturally scratch and patina over time as a result of regular use. While our PVD coatings are engineered to be among the hardest in the industry and are independently verified through Hardness Vickers testing, we make no claims that these finishes are immune to wear, surface damage, or the effects of daily use. Hardness testing demonstrates enhanced durability and resistance, but does not guarantee against scratching, denting, or discolouration from typical kitchen activities.
